Waste Management Context

At Nayem Fashion, we believe that responsible waste management is an essential part of sustainable garment manufacturing. As a growing garments factory in Bangladesh, we are committed not only to producing high-quality apparel but also to minimizing our environmental impact.

In our production process, different types of fabric waste are generated, including cutting scraps and leftover knit materials such as cotton, lycra, viscose, and other fabrics. Instead of discarding these materials, we follow an eco-friendly recycling approach. All usable fabric waste is carefully collected, sorted, and sold to spinning mills.

These spinning mills process the waste fabrics by converting them into fiber, commonly known as “tula.” This recycled fiber is then reused to produce yarn, which can be used again in textile production. In this way, what would normally be waste becomes a valuable raw material, contributing to a circular production system.

Through this process, Nayem Fashion not only reduces waste but also supports sustainable practices within the textile industry. It helps conserve natural resources, reduce environmental pollution, and promote recycling at every level of the supply chain.

We also maintain a clean and organized factory environment by ensuring proper waste segregation and handling. Our team is aware of the importance of waste management, and we continuously encourage responsible practices among our workers.

In conclusion, waste management is not just a process—it is a responsibility. By turning fabric waste into reusable resources, we contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future for the garments industry.
